Owner Doug Adams has spent most of his life in the marine world—working on boats, learning equipment inside and out, and helping fellow boaters make every outing better than the last. After years in the corporate world, Doug felt the pull to return to what had always brought him the most joy. In 2018, he and his family took that leap, opening a business built on passion, hands-on experience, and the desire to serve the boating community with honesty and heart.

I was having some problems with my Minn Kota Riptide turning off after a few minutes of running. I tested the batteries and both ends of the plug and all 3 showed 24 plus volts. I went to Perdido to grab another item and talked with them about what was going on. They told me to bring it in and they would put it on the bench and test the board. The found the problem and exchanged the board and checked the trolling motor for any other defects. They called the next day and said it was ready. I picked it up and went straight to test it on the water and it ran like a new trolling motor. They were very friendly and the service was outstanding I would highly recommend them for any Minn Kota work that needed to be done.

Purchased a Minnkota ultrex from Perdido Marine Supply. I’ve had to take it back twice for warranty issues and they always have fixed my motor very quickly and communicated everything through the whole process. One issue was a flaw in design and they figured out how to fix it. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. When your boat is how you make a living this is huge! Hands down the best customer service I’ve had. Going back to get them to install lithium batteries on the boat! Doug and his son are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with.

MUST READ....Hands Down best dealer in the U.S. I purchased the Riptide Instinct in New Orleans from a dealer. I had issues out of the gate. Tried calling dealer several times but no return call. I ended up damaging the prop and shaft as the boat would not hold me. I called Minn Kota and Dan trouble shot my problem as a set up issue. I was heading Pensecola so he put me in contact with Perdido Marine Supply. I stopped there and within 2 hours Phil had installed a new motor installed and recalibrated. He also did some final adjustments for better performance. Perdido Marine Supply is the most knowledgable Minn Kota authorized dealer that I know of. Phil is a rock star with customer relations expert advice. He multi tasked with other customers to get me back on the water. Quickest turn around time on the planet!!! Now Minn Kota....they stand behind there product. They went 110% on the warranty let alone getting me to someone to get me back on the water. I will only buy from Perdido Supply Marine.
